- Dog Breeder Pro — available on web, iOS, and Android
- Cat Breeder Pro — available on web, iOS, and Android
These are collectively referred to as “the Service” or “our Services.”
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

We collect information to provide and improve our Services:
Information You Provide
Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, postal address
Payment Information: Credit card details and billing address. Important: Account registration and subscription payments are managed through our web platform only (not through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store). We never have access to your full credit card information. Payment data is collected and processed entirely by our secure payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, Braintree), not by us.
Profile Information: Photos, breeding records, and other content you choose to add
Animal Information: Pet details, pedigree and lineage data, DNA test results, color genetics, breed information
Animal Health Records: Veterinary records, health test results, vaccination records, medical history
Third-Party Authentication: When you sign in using Apple or Google, we receive basic account information including your name and email address. Apple users may choose to use a private relay email address instead of sharing their actual email.
Contacts You Store: Names, email addresses, phone numbers, and addresses of your clients, buyers, co-owners, veterinary contacts, and other people you add to your account
Communications: Support requests and feedback you send us
Information Collected Automatically
On Web (via browser):
- Device and browser information: IP address, device type, browser type and version, operating system
- Usage information: Pages viewed, referring URLs, features accessed, time spent, search queries
- Technical data: Performance metrics, error logs
On Mobile (iOS and Android apps):
Device Information:
- Device model and operating system version
- Screen size and resolution
- App version
- Device identifiers (randomly generated unique ID for your installation)
Important: We do NOT collect advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android).
Usage and Analytics:
- App interactions: Features used, buttons clicked, screens viewed
- Session data: Time spent in app, frequency of use
- Search queries within the app
- Custom events (e.g., when you add a pet or create a breeding record)
Technical and Diagnostic Data:
- Crash reports and error logs (collected automatically to improve app stability)
- App performance data (load times, responsiveness)
- IP address (used only for approximate location and security)
User-Specific Data (when you’re logged in):
- Email address (linked to your account)
- User preferences and settings
- Content you create (breeding records, photos, notes)
Mobile Permissions
Our mobile apps may request the following permissions:
Camera: To photograph pets and upload images
Photo Library: To select and upload pet photos from your device
Notifications: To send you reminders, updates, and alerts
You can manage these permissions through your device settings at any time. Denying these permissions may limit certain features but will not prevent you from using the core functionality of the app.
Analytics and Tracking Technologies
Analytics Service: We use PostHog for analytics to understand how our apps and websites are used. PostHog collects:
- The information listed in “Information Collected Automatically” above
- Your email address (when you’re logged in)
- Events you trigger in the app (like viewing a screen or creating a record)
Important: We do not use PostHog or any other service for cross-app tracking or targeted advertising. PostHog data is used solely to improve our products and understand how you use our features.
Cookies (Web Only): We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies on our websites to:
- Keep you logged in
- Remember your preferences
- Understand how our platform is used
- Improve performance
On our website, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies (such as analytics cookies). You can also disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work as intended.
How We Use Your Information

All providers are bound by strict confidentiality and data protection agreements and may only process information on our instructions. They cannot use your data for their own purposes.

Business Transfers

- We use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission for transfers from the EEA, UK, and Switzerland
- We work with reputable service providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Stripe, Firebase, etc.) who implement appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data
- Data transferred outside your region is protected under appropriate legal frameworks and contractual protections

Data Retention and Security
How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to:
- Provide the Service to you
- Comply with legal obligations
- Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements
Specific retention periods:
- Account data: Retained while your account exists. If you cancel your subscription, your account and data remain available in case you decide to resubscribe later.
- Payment records: Retained for 7 years to comply with tax and financial regulations.
- Security, audit, and abuse-prevention logs: Retained for up to 24 months.
- All other data: Support tickets, analytics, and backups are retained only as long as necessary and then deleted or anonymized.
When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 90 days, except where we must retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information:
- Encryption: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard protocols

- Precise location (GPS coordinates)
- Health data (personal health data from Apple HealthKit, Google Health Connect, or similar device health frameworks — note: we do collect animal health records as described above, but no human health data)
- Financial info (credit cards are handled by payment processors only)
- Contacts from your address book
- Browsing history outside our app
- Messages or emails from your device
- Audio recordings (except if you contact support)

None of these third parties use your data for their own advertising, tracking, or marketing purposes. They only process data on our instructions to provide the services listed.
Tracking
We do NOT track you.
Specifically:
- We do not link your data with data from other companies’ apps or websites for advertising or tracking purposes
- We do not share your data with advertising networks or data brokers
- We do not use your data for targeted advertising across other apps
- We do not collect advertising identifiers
Note: We may offer optional integrations with third-party services (e.g., genetic testing laboratories) that allow data to be exchanged between our Service and theirs to provide you with a better experience. These integrations only operate with your explicit consent and are described in the Service Providers section above. This is not tracking — it is a functional service you choose to use.
If you see a tracking permission prompt on iOS, it is NOT from our app — we never trigger this prompt because we don’t track users.
Your Privacy Choices
You control your data:
- Delete your account: All your data is deleted within 90 days
- Opt out of marketing: Unsubscribe from emails anytime
